Laptop - i5 2450M vs A6 3420M

Need a do all machine..
Usual multimedia stuff- edit pictures, listen to music, watch DVD's, edit home movies - capture, render,burn dvd; run statistical packages; occasional gaming --obviously would be running at least 2 at the same time!Would rather prefer a machine which is just more than enough rather than just about manage!

for all those stuff, i'd go with A6 even it has better GPU.

Get the i5 2450M.It's processor is a lot better than the A6 3420M.One the other hand if gaming is more important than the other things go for the A6.But if you really wanted to game you would have probably chosen one with a discrete GPU instead of those.
Bottom line you're better off with the i5 2450M.

Please tell us which two computers you're considering. There may be other spec differences that are more important.
