Hi Tom's Hardware community! I've recently asked a question in the Desktop section and I found you guys to be really helpful! I have another question now regarding Notebooks/Ultrabooks.

1. What is your budget?
<$1500 (Ideally <$1000, I'm not sure how powerful the Ultrabook has to be for my requirements)

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Ultrabook qualifications. As thin and light weight as possible. I will be largely using it on the go so portability is really an issue.

3. What screen resolution do you want? The screen resolution doesn't really matter because I will mainly be hooking it up to my monitor if I want to play games. However, the graphics card should preferably be powerful enough to support graphics onto a large screen 23-24".

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portability

5. How much battery life do you need?
4-6 hours

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes! The main purpose of the laptop is for gaming such as World of Warcraft, Diablo 3. Preferably on Medium, or ideally High.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Simple web browsing, Watching movies (when projected onto a larger TV/monitor) YouTube videos, word processing.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Not essential. Enough for games and videos

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
None.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
3-5 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Not essential.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
No preference.

13. What country do you live in?
Singapore

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
The laptop will mainly be connected to the internet via USB Mobile Modem and hence the internal Wifi connection isn't essential.

Thank you in advance!

You need to wait. 2nd gen Ultrabooks with Ivy Bridge CPUs haven't really started shipping yet. Ultrabooks will ship with the nVidia GT 640m like the Acer's Aspire Timeline Ultra M3, but I'm not sure if any will ship with the more power GT 650m or GT 660m since they need better cooling than a thin Ultrabook will likely be able to provide.

The GT 640m is very good for 1366x768 resolution, but stepping up to 1600x900 resolution the performance will probably be mediocre.
