Hp zv5000 touchpad

Hello,
my hp zv5000 touchpad does not work at all,no left/right click,no up/down scroll or mouse movement,light is on,i have to use usb mouse,winxp pro installed with spk3.any ideas please.

Check to see if it's disabled in the BIOS, also that it's not disabled in Windows. And sensitivity, if it's up too high, won't register unless you push down harder on it.

Last step, take off the keyboard and check the connections.
