Hey everyone thanks for taking your time to read this and hopefully, thanks for helping me figuring the problem im facing in advance.

So in short im having problems with my internet wireless connection when i try to connect to the network it fails it gives me a message: Windows cannot connect to SpeedTouch and it gives me the option of diagnose the problem or connect to a diffrent network when i choose the first one it gives me another message saying Wireless association failed due to unknown reason, and it gives me two other option. The thing is no matter what i do nothing works. All other devices can connect to it with no problem excempt my laptop. The laptop have randomly connected like 2 times the first time was for a couple of hours the second time was just for about 30mins.

Now, everything started about 3 days ago. When i woke up from a nap i noticed that i had no connection so when i tried connecting to it, it game me the same messages i explained, so i spended the whole day trying to fix it unsuccesfuly. At some point i thought that my "cousin in law" had blocked my ip, but i really wouldnt know if i was so i instead kept trying to fix it by doing this:
1.Delete the network and re-enter the password.
2.System restore.
3.Updating the driver

So it wasnt until i tried the last one that it fix it, and it lasted about for 6-8hours the moment i went sleep and when i woke up again nothing it wasnt working and it havent done so since then. I have tried the same thing i did to fix it but nothing. So please, if anyone can help me ill be really greatful.

The laptop spec is:
OS: Vista
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual 1.86GHz
RAM: 2GB
Display: Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
Wireless Adapter: Intel Wireless WifiLink 4965AGN
(*When i go to System Information and in the Network Adapter part it says: "Name: (00000000) WAN Miniport (L2TP) Adapter Type: Not available, should it say the info above?)

First off check to see if someone changed the setting on your router. i would start there by holding the reset button on the router and put it back to factory settings. when it powers back on you should be able to connect to it as it wont have a password. if you can log onto the internet then you know the error was a settings issue. you can then log into the router (1923.168.1.1) change the name of the wifi and put a password back on it. if you think it the wifi card then connect the laptop by hard wire to the router and if it connects try updaing the wifi software for the wifi card.

Try to restore the router to the factory mode by press the bottom behind the router for ten second until the router lights turn on and off many time ........then go to the laptop open the wireless by bottom or some one of f function. Go to the network manager. And delet the laptop icons that is using the lasts passwords of networks ..go to IP address to ensure the is no ip and it's in. Automatics IP address ..also try to delet the driver of wireless card and install new open by cd or connect to Ethernet.port. ...ther driver from original company ....try this and I hope it will solve
