MSI A6200 Intel i3 Core laptop for an iPad 2 16gb?

iPad is brand new. I've been wanting one for a while, but I wanted to know if it was a good idea. I know Apple products (sadly) retain their prices a bit better than most other brands, so I was thinking of trading my MSI laptop for this one.

My question is, is this a good deal? If I don't like it, I know a couple of people who are wanting to trade their Macbooks, both an Air and two Pros, for an iPad, so I could possibly trade it to them.
