WIDI Laptop GPU Requirement?

I want a laptop that can stream blue-rays, internet videos, and also be a semi decent gaming device.

I was thinking of getting the HP Pavilion dv6t as it has widi in the title, but that could be miss leading, and comes with the Radeon HD 6490M, which is better than the intel graphics card. The HP Pavilion dv6-6c50us on the other hand has the Intel HD Graphics 3000. My question is, can the widi work with a Radeon card instead of the Intel card?

it looks like WiDi is intel's feature so you need to use intel's integrated graphics

Wireless Display is a feature that MFGRs can add to a notebook if they choose.
If a WiDi equipped notebook also has an AMD or Nvidia dedicated graphics card it won't matter.

SONY VAIO SA Series 13.3" Notebook w/ AMD Radeon HD 6630M
Dell XPS 15 w/Nvidia GeForce GT 540M

If your TV is not WiDi ready you'll need a receiver to hook up to the TV.
