HP dv6 6165tx vs HP dv6 7xxx.

I am going to buy one of these two laptops mainly for gaming purpose.
1. HP dv6 6165tx
2. HP dv6 7xxx

As i have seen on notebookcheck.net, 6165's AMD 6770m > GT 630m of dv6 7xxx.

So, is really the performance will be poor on the new dv6 series, or new Ivy Bridge i7 on dv6 7xxx can compensate for the FPS loss???
I am going to play newer games like BF3, Anno 2070, Crysis 2, Metro 2033 etc.

Also if someone has benchmarked any of these two laptops, please tell us about the performance difference b/w these two.

Hello hwmgr;

For gaming - get the one with the best graphics card.
You won't be seeing any benchmarks on the dv6-7000 models for a few more weeks.

But you can infer the performance. Just look on Notebookcheck GeForce GT 630M review page for benchmark results with Core i5 CPU. If you click on a FPS score in the game benchmarks it will tell you about notebook that got that score.
