lower right hand corner of your screen, do you see a speaker ?

right click on it, go to playback devices, do you see a microphone ?

does it have a green circle with a check mark ?

check all available settings.

check device manager. what does it say for your realtek audio device ?

go to acer or realtek and download the latest drivers
