HP Over Heating Problem

I have a DV7 laptop that is now about 2 years old.
I've discovered that I've been very lucky compared to many.

I have taken it in to get repaired, fortunately it's covered under an extended warranty.

I like the computer and it's ran mostly 24/7 for the last 2 years but it clearly has a heat problem.

So my question is, does anyone have some ideas on what I can do to help the cooling system do it's job?
I'm sure that HP has nothing to say about this from what I've read in other forum threads.

So if there is any way I can make improvements to help the airflow I'm open to suggestions.

Thnks,
