Lost files not sure what to restore

i lost some major installs for my lap top and now it don,t install properly or says i,m missing files in order to down load on my asus laptop k73e

What programs are you talking about?

When you're trying to start them, an error message appears, something about "missing files".

Can you copy the error message here exactly as you see it on the screen?
