E machines/laptop e525

Hello,
I have an E Machine Laptop e525, and the wi-fi "on/off" adapter has gotten turned off and I have not had any luck finding any way to get it turned back on. I am currently having to plug my laptop into the cable box with a USB cord. So hopefully you will be able to help me.

It should be the button to the immediate right of the power button. It will have a little green light lit up when you press it to indicate that the LAN/WiFi is turned on.
