Dell XPS 13 vs. HP Folio 13

Hello,

I'm helping a friend buy a new laptop, and we've decided to go the ultraportable/ultrabook route. I think I've narrowed it down to two choices: the $1000 Dell XPS 13 (just released yesterday) or the $900 HP Folio 13.
Important things are battery life and general performance.
Most used applications will be Microsoft Office and an internet browser; nothing too heavy, but should be able to multitask well and never frustrate.
I've heard a couple things about each, like that the HP is a little bulkier and that the Dell doesn't have great battery life, but what do you guys think? Which one is the better choice?

While they are a bit thicker I'd highly recommend you look at the Lenovo X220 as well.

Well, it really depends on your requirements.

But as Tibbs01 said, Lenovo is great. But from HP & Dell. Dell is my first love.

Anyway, you should do some research on reviews before finalizing your decision.

I've purchased one and am really happy with it. I wrote a review for a website I created for Dell XPS 13 owners or potential owners. http/www.dellxps13.org or http/www.dellxps13review.com. About the vs apple comments, its not really fair to compare them because Windows is such a hindrance. I run Linux Ubuntu on mine that levels the playing field.

+ high-performance
+ ultra portability and comfort
+ long battery life

Cons
- keyboard and touch pad is not good
- reflective display
- heavier than the competition from dell xps 13
