My brother is really sad. His f'ing wife is giving him a hard time, because she's crazy. He's kinda a selfless guy that has never done anything for himself, only others...

Anyway, he needs a laptop and asked me if I could recommend one for him. He has 500.00. I really wanted to help him out and I know you guys are the best at this kinda stuff.

Do you guys know of any good deals on laptops online for about 500 ? Thanks, really appreciate it.

I reccomend an A8 based laptop.

Does your brother mind refurbished laptops?

This one is refurbished, but has a blu ray player and is a good system - all around. However it's $550 (50 over limit).

6GB ram,

640GB HDD.

Only problem is resolution - 1366 x 768 which is a bit small.
