I have an acer aspire one and why is it taking so long to install the software

I bought an Acer Aspire One yesterday and i had to go through the usual setup process of the computer. And when it got to the software installation it went by fairly quickly i suppose. But when it hit 37/37 (the ending point) It just stopped.
It still shows that its loading and my mouse cursor still moves, but its been in the same spot for 10 hours ! I dont know what to do and it says to not shut off my computer. HELP ME PLEASSEEEEEE !

Contact ACER, new laptop you are better off going though their support. That way if anything happens you are covered by the warranty.

Why are you setting it up ?

In the UK , a new lappy is already set up and you press the power button and go straight into windows...

Is this common in America ?
