Hello, i'm just wondering if someone could help me decide between these 2 gaming laptops:

this toshiba qosmio: http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/qosmio/X770/X775-Q7384

and this HP: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=ad&dlc=en&docname=c03146480&lc=en

Now, i know HP laptops are not really known for gaming, though i think the specs are quite good.

Overall i'm having difficulty choosing cause i can obtain the HP at a really good price compared to the toshiba, (something between 300 and 400 dollar less), and i'm also wondering if the smaller screen has some significance.

So, is it really worth to spend that difference on the toshiba or i simply go with the HP?

Thanks in advance

Getting that HP for $300-400 less than the Toshiba is by no mean a good price for that level of performance.

For Toshiba less $300-400, you can get this:

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8130-clevo-p151hm1-p-2973.html?wconfigure=yes

Selecgt i7-2670, select 4x2GB RAM, W7 HP, bluray ROM (if you really want a bluray drive)

Which is the same level of performance as the Toshiba.

Or if you decide not to save some money and use up the full $1400:

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8150-built-clevo-p150hm-custom-gaming-sager-notebook-p-2972.html?wconfigure=yes

Select 6990m and W7 HP, also the $100 discount for order over $1500. Well, can't fit BD within budget so... But hey, you get an awesome mobile GPU!!

I blew 3k on a Toshiba.
12FPS in Minecraft! Lowest settings possible.
I just spent 2k on a Dell XPS 15 it runs Skyrim on Ultra settings. Do check out the Dell XPS series they really are a charm. But yes everyone at my school has crappy Toshibas that struggle running games on low settings while a few have HPs or Dells that do it all on high or ultra.

Well, I really can't say which laptop is more reliable then which. Since I've seen people cursed out dells, hp, toshiba, levono, and pretty much all the brands.

I'm currently using a Dell, and my cousin has a toshiba. They work fine from what I can tell. My cousin had his toshiba for over 2 years now, and a couple months ago he hosted Terraria for 3 days straight, just so we can try and flood the world

On the 3rd day I was surprised, cause I held my hand over his laptop keyboard to see if it's hot, but it's actually just warm.
