Im not good with laptops and I need one. INTEL CORE i7 - 740QM 1.7GHz -2.5GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM
1GB GDDR5 ATI CROSSFIRE 5870
512MB NVIDIA DISCRETE GRPHX CARD FOR NON GAMING PURPOSES.
1TB HDD SPACE
WINDOWS HOME PREMIUM X64
Resolution is 1440x900
its an alienware

Would this look crystal clear and max games even on 1440x900 cause I know thats a crappy res but is it for a laptop.
would it look just as good as something 1920x1080 on a normal monitor or worse?

I know I could hook it up to an hdtv at 1080p Im assuming but I dont need it for that cause I have a desktop I just want something thats going to look really good on the laptop screen so I can game on it when Im not home and enjoy the looks.

It's decent but Crossfire is a waste on 1440x900
