Probably a mix of medium and low settings.

I was surprised when the system requirements for Civ 5 was released. In the past you never really had to worry about the the requirements. But I suppose they decided to make Civ 5 a more graphics intensive game.

Civ V and Shogun are graphics intensive games. You wouldn't think so, not being FPS. The graphics details require a LOT of polygons to be refreshed each frame. You can probably play med details with that setup and expect longer screen writes.
