Q540s Hasee + SSD

Hello,
I wanted to upgrade this laptop with a Kingston 30gb SSD, Bios can see it,, but hasee says 'disc failure' and Windows7 (install) can find this hdd but it says the size is 0.0MB... any ideas? I connected this hdd to anothe laptop and booted win7 - works great...

probably your mobo is incompatible with that SSD. check with vendor to make sure this isn't a locked Bios issue

thats the problem... cannot find ANY info about any BIOS update for it
