I am going to buy a gaming laptop either before Christmas or a little after it.
Within my budget range of 1,200-1,300 dollars. I would like one that has a 17 inch screen, at least a GTX 560M 1.5 Gb or better, and it HAS to have XMX capability so I can upgrade the CPU AND the GPU in a year+, I want to play games on high settings at a good resolution, at least 500 Gb HDD at 7200RPM, 8Gb at at least 1333Mzh speed, of course everything is ot be dedicated; as in dedicated GPU and RAM and what not.

Sager, Prostar, XoticPC. Will order from one of them.

I realize your looking at Clevo's, but where do you live? Because if you live within the US, the Asus 17" laptops have the GTX 560m at 2 GB dedicated memory at a cost on the low end of the range you gave. At Best Buy: www.bestbuy.com, search G74SX-BBK8. Its $1199.99. An being Asus, you know exactly what brand Mobo your buying if your brand loyal.

Now ideally, you want to find a laptop with the ATI Radeon 6990m, but that won't come without its premium pricepoint.

Edit: Also at that pricepoint, hard to run into a laptop where you can upgrade the CPU and GPU like that.

I live in the U.S. The P150HM and P170HM are built for gamers, with the power for today and the flexibility for tommorow. Thats the advertisement for them. They look good and I heard that ASUS portable computers have "dedicated" GPU's that are SOLDERED onto the motherboard. : o thats not good for me. Another thought is I could get a G74Sx, BUT if it has a soldered on GPU then I probably will not want it.
Another thought would be that if the GTX 560M 1.5 Gb or the 3Gb G74SX ones; if I were to spend 1200 to 1300 bucks on it, would that graphics card last me...say 2 or 3 years of high graphics settings in future games. Cuz Every few years I would just buy another one thats better.

But really, I want to spend every penny I posted on a gaming laptop that has such MXM flexibility.

Also, what kind of MOBO do the ASUS G74 series have?

I am also looking to play Everquest 2 on the best settings possible; with at least 35 FPS.
May play World of Warcraft too. Crysisn, Crysis 2, Skyrim. Etc.
