Solved! My laptop crashes every 20 mins to 4 hrs

hi guys, i am using acer 4740 core i3 2gb ram.
intially it worked fine for a year but recently it has started crashing whenever i download any movie/ play any movie or any game like NFS.
please help me as it is troubling me very often

The problem could be because of any recent software which might have been installed.
Just try restoring your system to a date when it was working fine.

Goto Start Menu > type restore > then it shows some results. Select System Restore and follow the instructions to restore your system to an older date.

Sound like overheating, make sure there is no dust clogging fans/exhaust outlets, you may want to take it apart a bit (or have a computer knowledgable friend do it), and get rid of any gunk inside where the heatsinks and fans are also.
