Solved! I have a gateway laptop nv5378u that wont boot?

I have a gateway laptop nv5378u that wont boot. It starts up and then the "windows is loading" screen comes up and loading bar loads then it goes to "please wait a moment" screen and stays there.

Welcome to Tomshardware Forums.

Are you able to start in Safe Mode (Power on your laptop and keep hitting F8 key).
From there, if you get an option something like "start with last best know configuration", try that.
