My HP laserjet 4345 was makes a very loud clunking noise while it was printing. Now, everything is jamming. Is this the fuser or something else?

Solution
depends on where it is jamming... typically yes, it is the fuser... but it could also be your Toner Cartridge or Main Gear Assembly. Easy steps... replace Toner (if you have an extra one) and see if issue goes away. Check where it is jamming... if you find paper in the Fuser or trying to go into the fuser then your Fuser is the issue.

if you dont find ANY paper after it jams then it could be your pick assembly or main gear... if this happens, try feeding paper through the MFP and see if it prints properly...

Thanks for the reply. The new fuser seems to have worked for a few days but it started jamming again and making the clunking noise.
