Acer laptop cmos reset

Acer 5720z 4126 Aspire one repeats, current password: ? I ampretty well diy so tell me how to reset the cmos password.

Is that the BIOS password?
The BIOS password is stored on non-volatile flash memory. A CMOS reset or removing the CMOS battery won't zero out the password like it used to in the 'old days'.

You'll need to work with Acer to get it reset.
