Which would you choose for gaming, music production and web browsing/word processing presuming they were of similar cost?

The HP comes with this configuration

CPU- i72630QM 2.0ghz

Ram- 8gb 1333mhz

HD- 1tb 5400rpm

GPU- Radeon 6770m 2gb

It also has the 1920x1080 screen and a blu ray player

The xps 15z would be like this

Intel i7-2620M processor 2.70 GHz turbo boost to 3.4ghz (4mb L3 cache)

8 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz (2 DIMMs)

750 GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)

15.6 inch FHD (1080P) WLED Display (1920 x 1080)

8X Tray Load CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)

9-in-1 Media Card Reader

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 & Bluetooth 3.0

2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M with Optimus

Solution
the HP is clearly better, i7-2620 is actually a dual core cpu vs 2630 which is a quad.

6770 is a much better gpu than 525 too (6770 can run metro 2033 on medium with decent fps, 525 cannot)

plus, HP has blueray while dell doesn't.

if they are the same price, I think HP is a clear better choice.

I have considered clevo but decided the equivalent model would probably be a bit too clunky and low on battery life for my needs.

I think i'd probably get a g53sw if i was happy to compromise on those things for performance.
