Buy notebook display replacement in UK?

My 12 inch notebook display turned all black. It only makes a short flash when notebook is turned on.
If you look carefully, the picture is still on the display, but there is no light.
So I guess the display is broken.
Anywhere in UK I can buy a lowpriced (quality doesn't have to be high) replacement?
On ebay I found nothing relevant.

It´s a Nexoc Osiris tablet pc.

The display malfunction didn't appear at once. First it would work
for 1/2 to 1 hour. Then it would start flashing. And finally turn black.

The notebook can be used via the vga port.

What's a inverter?
