sb live drivers recognize it as a value ed when it is an x-gamer...why

When I was shopping for sound cards I noticed the only difference between any of the live cards was the software shipped with them (fairly certain). Did you get a game with it? I checked there website and unfortunately it's totally changed since 9 months ago and nothing is familiar so I can't say for certain.
This is taken from there new site
"The Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer is one memeber of the Sound Blaster Live! family of cards, other memebers are the Blaster Live! MP3+ and the Sound Blaster Live! Platinum. They all share the same design and solutions."
It makes no mention of the "Value" so I could be totally wrong. I'd email them and see what Creative has to say.

I thought that there may be a hardware difference. I thought I read it somewhere. Creative has been less than helpful with these older cards as of late and that new website sucks sooo much

It could be that there is a hardware diff. but I know alot of those Live cards were the same, and ya that new site is terrible. Can't find anything , no FAQ on your card at all, how lame.

I tell ya I have a Audigy Platinum and I won't be buying Creative any longer. There support stinks, there drivers are worse and the sound isn't that great. On top of that my supposed Dolby 5.1 ready card won't actually play 5.1 in ANY games . I'd use it as a good excuse .
