Hi All,

I wish to buy a HP g6-1a30us Notebook PC - Silver that comes with VISION Technology from AMD with AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processor for Notebook PCs P360
3GB DDR3 System Memory (2 DIMM) Maximum supported = 8GB
320GB (5400RPM) Hard Drive (SATA)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics with up to 1405MB total graphics memory.

I'd use it mainly for browsing, ms excel, etc. what you guys think?

and how about this:
Lenovo G560 Series 0679ALU 15.6-Inch Laptop,
Product Features
P6200 Intel Pentium processor
15.6-inch HD screen (1366x768), 16:9 widescreen
4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB HDD storage
Integrated 802.11b/g/n WiFi
USB 2.0, eSATA connectors

Solution
Either one sounds reasonable for average use, but I would choose Lenovo based on their better reliability rating and the intel P series processor is energy efficient. If you could buy a machine with the latest i3 processor it would be even better.

Thanks cadder, I'm more inclined towards the Lenovo. I will very probably go for it.
