Solved! Nc4010 won't boot

Hi, my daughter has an nc4010 laptop that won\'t start up even in safe mode. She complained that windows was crashing on night and then the following day while taking it upstairs she tripped over the cord and dropped it down the stairs. I don\'t know if it\'s not booting now because of the windows problem or because she dropped it. When I try to boot in safe mode it comes up with a black screen with 6 lines that all start with multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\windows\\system32\\config and then ends with something else. Any idea what I need to do?

try doing a repair re-install of windows using the system recovery CD that came with laptop.

if that doesn't work you most likely have hardware problem
