Help Whit Laptop Choice from 4 same specs please.

Hi all, after 3 months of looking still cant find a good laptop.
Looking for a thin , aluminium one.
I seen some of the Dell one's and i somehow hate how plastic they are and thick base looks like cheap empty laptops.
What i do: well now i have an Optiplex 745 whit a dual core CPU and 3 GB ram and a 9600gt whit low power consumption, im not a gamer but i do some minor gaming like, Call of Duty, and such shooters but mostly on low and medium resolution.
And a little bit of web and graphic design whit fireworks and Photoshop.
I will use and work on this laptop at least minimum of 6 hours a day.
So yes this will be a desktop replacement, but it will do some traveling to costumers, no problem whit big laptops for me as im not a p...y

Expectations are, I7-2630QM. at least 4 Gb Ram DDR3 and HDD not matters as i have a big SSD.

So i have seen 4 laptops and would like to see what the comunity says.

Hi,

In my opinion I would go for the Asus, I've had nothing but Asus motherboard wise in my desktops, as have a lot of my friends and they make extremely good, reliable hardware. Plus it also has blu-ray and a much better resolution than the others. The RAM you can always upgrade yourself for not much extra and it's fairly easy to do. HP used to have a lot of problems with overheating - Not sure if they have improved in recent years but all the reviews I've seen of them haven't been particularly amazing, a lot of people sending theirs off for repairs...As for the Dells, My experience with Dell over the last few years has been that their laptop build quality has gradually gone down and their prices have gone up. I think they are now taking advantage of their much heard of name and logo like Apple.

I've been eying that ASUS for a month now, and it might be the one I get in a few paydays (it ain't cheap), and I've found nothing but positive reviews for it (beside the standard - the "\" key is in the wrong place, etc).

Now the "versions" of it that I'm looking at have a bit more power in them (3GB graphics memory, 2x 750GB 7200rpm drives, 12GB mem), but they are the same case and screen. But by all reports, it has good cooling and good design and a good screen.
