Howzit guys
im looking for a nice laptop that would support my student needs...
i dont want to get into the OS side of things, as ive chosen mac.
Ok, so ive come to the conclusion of either a (new) macbook air or pro 13"
i will be using just word docs and power point, ect and email, light web surfing and so on. a few SMALL games wld b nice to use wen im bored, but nothing big at all... just like angry birds and stuff like that. i wld also like to take it away, so gud bttry life is needed, and are any of these options any good at multimedia. [:grahamlv:3]
thanx for any help guyz... [:aford10:4]

You don't really have a question, since your set on getting a Mac...
Umm... If you want to game, go with a PC. Like the Alienware M11x...
Multimedia? they're fine...

For the things you described I think the Air should do, since none of those require much power at all. I'd try to explain how you could save money with a windows pc but since you're set on Mac I won't waste my time.

I would take the book simply because it has a dvd drive. If you are in a dorm, your eventually going to want to watch a dvd.

Don't forget student discount pricing and $100 gift voucher for their online store (yay free angry birds and lady gaga songs till your ears bleed). MS also gives a whopping 50% discount for the full office. for mac This is all in the us of course.
