Solved! Password problems

Hello,
I just bought an ACER ASPIRE 7741Z-4643. I put in a password and now it won't open. It just says the user name or password is incorrect. Ieven clicked on reset password and it says it requires removable media. I inserted USB flash drive and it says its not a password reset flash drive. Help

when you created a password did you have num lock or caps lock on?

try typing your password with either of those on, or both of them on.

did you create a flash drive to recover your password? if you didn't then obviously you can't recover it that way
