Solved! Acer 4750G Problem : Vertical line on LCD.

Hello people.

Yea im just wondering, is the problem is caused by the LCD itself?

There's a vertical line, for now its just about 0.5mm in width. Anything behind the line can't be seen.

So, what do you think causing the problem?

Can you try connecting an external monitor to your laptop to verify?

if the lines appear on the external monitor, this is an internal hardware problem, most likely video card.

if the lines don't appear on external monitor, this is your laptop monitor problem and will need replacement. Contact your manufacturer/vendor for service pricing, unless you are planning for a DIY solution.
