Hi all,
I'm looking for a notebook (11" or 12") with long battery life, preferably 6h+ when using WLAN. I've narrowed down my search to the 2 models described in the title, and would appreciate some help. The weird thing about the Asus 1215B is that I've found like 3 different types of them, or at least 3 with different CPUs. Anyway, here they are:

Asus http://jimmspc-store.fi/tuoteinfo/1215B-BLK083M?pid=1309332092886
Asus http://jimmspc-store.fi/tuoteinfo/1215B-RED003M?pid=1309332129902

HP http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/16154/cxqbq/HP-Pavilion-dm1-3110eo-11-6-HD-AMD-E-350-4-GB-500

Also, how are these compared to the Acer Aspire One 722? I hope you get the necessary information from those pages although they're in Finnish, if not I'll try to find an English page. And if you have better notebook suggestions please tell me. My budget is 500€.

Thanks

Ok, so the Asus links you provided, the 1st one is the cheaper model, for obvious reasons (slower cpu, less ram, smaller hdd) the second and third links are the same machine that is better than the 1st one.

hp has got the same exact specs as the 2-3 asus, so the difference would be in the laptop case and maybe screen only.

basically from what I can tell, both are good models for what you need, so pick between 2nd asus (it had a red picture in your link) and the HP. Look at detailed pictures of the laptop so you can see the keyboard, where the ports are, the screen, etc. They both got the same hardware inside so, only difference is which color you prefer more.

Good job on the research :)

Ok, thanks for the reply :) But one question about the 2 different Asus machines; since they both have the same battery, does the first one have a longer battery life since the hardware isn't as good? Because if it's a significant difference I will probably go with the cheaper one. And I was also wondering if 2 GB of RAM is enough for running Windows 7 64 bit smoothly? wouldn't a 32 bit be a better option? And lastly do you think that these models are the bests ones in this price range or are there any alternative notebooks?
