Qosmio cooling fan pad thingy

I am looking at buying this laptop: Qosmio X775-Q7270 Laptop
I am trying to decide whether or not to buy a laptop cooling fan for it. I have read conflicting reviews about not to buy it if the laptop already has fans, and vice versa. can anyone help me on whether or not it is advisable to buy a laptop cooling fan or not? If so , any recommendations? Thanks

My recommendation is to not buy an aftermarket cooling pad until you've tested your laptop. There's a 95% probability you won't need one.
Most of the hot exhaust exits out the side vents.
