Solved! Have wireless connection but browser doesn\'t open anything

my laptop can't get internet. It's connected to my wireless DSL modem and says it has excellent signal strength, but I can't get anything on my browser. my laptop run Windows7.

Turn off your computer, turn off your router and wait for a minute or two, which will reset the IP.

Let me know if that works.
