Qosmio X505-Q8100X

I am trying to find out if this is a good laptop? I don't want to have to buy another one for a few years, and am trying to get something good that will last. Does anyone have input on this laptop: Qosmio X505-Q8100X
I would also like to know if it has a backlit keyboard so I can use it in poor lighting. If not, anything comparable to this with a backlit keyboard? Thanks

Other than the really small resolution for a screen of that size (1680x945, where most upper-end laptops that size are usually 1920x1080, or 1920x1200) it looks pretty good. I do not see anything anywhere on the website for a back-lit keyboard, but I would keep looking around if you find it a must. Personally I think it's just a gimmick to make more money, and wastes electricity (especially running from a battery).
