Laptop upgrading Gateway NV53A

I'm in the market for a new laptop. Best buy has one of the NV53A series on sale for 399. The price is great for what you're getting.
What I'm trying to find out is how much I could upgrade this laptop on my own. Some of the other models in the NV53A come with discrete graphics. So, does every NV53A series laptop use the same mainboard and chassis? If so, I should be able to install my own discrete graphics card in Best Buy's NV53A75u that uses standard integrated graphics. Of course upgrading RAM, HDD and CPU should be possible.
Please no comments about warranty voiding.

You'll end up spending just as much upgrading the thing, not to mention tons of time. I'd just bite the bullet and buy something with what you're looking for.
