Hey guys, I need some expert advice. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1525, and the ac adapter just crapped out.

The AC adapter has an
Input: 100-240V
Output: 19.5V 3.34A

My sister ordered two spare 19v 4.74a adapter two weeks ago for her asus f6. here is the link http://www.chargerbuy.com/replacement-asus-f6-ac-adapter-charger-19v-90w.html ,my question is that is there any chance that I ruin my laptop with that adapter?

Thanks in advanced!
Eason

Buy an actual dell, even if you get it aftermarket. you can get a real dell PA-xx from Amazon or ebay, or anywhere. cheap. Dell is very finicky about their power supplies.
if the unit detects a non-dell part often it will run at reduced speed, and may not charge the battery.

You need an adapter for a Dell. The plug into the laptop probably won't even fit the Dell.
