Hello,
i want upgrade my ram in my asus.. the instaled ram 2 gb ddr3 1066 mhz
i want changeram 4 gb ddr3 1333 mhz in my asus k42j.it have problem or work?
my speck
i5 2,53 ghz
ati mobility radeon 5730 2 gb
500gb hd
2 gb ddr3 1066 mhz

You can upgrade to 4gb. here is what asus says "DDR3 1066 MHz SDRAM, 2 x SODIMM socket for expansion up to 8GB SDRAM." this means that you have 2 slots at 1066mhz up to 8 gb.
if you put in a 1333 it'll run at the slower speed of 1066.
