Best 15.6 inch laptop

Hi I would like to buy a new laptop, will use it mainly for multimedia editing and web development. I would also like to play some games on it, but this is a secondary concern. Apart from the Mac, what is the best at the moment? I have found the Dell XPS 15 which seems really top-spec, and would like to know whether it has some viable competitors. I have a Sony at the moment and am pretty happy with it, but I haven't seen any Sony models which come close to the Dell yet.
