Hey guys. Trying to decide between which deal is better.

AMD Phenom II Triple-Core Mobile Processors N850 (2.2 Ghz, 3.6 GT/s) = $295 (scratch and dent)
250 GB SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM)
4GB RAM

OR

Processor: Intel Pentium Processor P6200 (3M Cache, 2.13 GHz) = $327 (refurbished)
320 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
4 GB RAM

One has a slightly faster CPU & HD and less space for a cheaper amount (AMD). But then again, the other one has a slightly bigger space, but I would have to pay more.

Any suggestions?

Hello StridingCloud;

What are the warranties like for each model?
It might work out that the model with the longest warranty is the best deal, everything considered.

for my part i would not touch a refurbish because you have a very short warranty on something that was defective before...

For the amd, is it scratch and dent on it for real....

I don't think used laptop are reliable, but i would go with the amd if still in good condition
