Solved! Onboard graphics VS very low end graphics

I've seen that there are many netbooks with onboard graphics and a few others that use very low end discrete graphics. For instance, this video card: http/www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-6310.40952.0.html This 6310 here is in one of Sony netbooks.

If I don't play games at all, should I always for onboard graphics? Or are there still some uses in very low end graphics comparing to onboard graphics?

I'm pretty sure all netbooks use onboard or on cpu-graphics. They don't use discrete video cards.

Discrete video cards are good for more than just games.
Generally speaking, you shouldn't pay extra for something you don't need.

The HD 6310 is the integrated video chip of the Zacate/Brazos CPU lineup. It's not a discrete video card.

About the only low-end 'Netbook discrete graphics card I can think of is the Atom & ION/ION2 combo.
Early 'Netbooks had problems with smooth HD video playback and for a while the better units included ION/ION2.
Since the Atom Netbooks upgraded to Intel GMA 3150 extra support for HD video was no longer required.
