My setup: I have a Dell XPS m1330 laptop running Win7 32-bit. I have two external displays running normally. Both are LG Flatron widescreens and one is HDMI the other VGA.
Lately my laptop has been slowing down to a crawl after some amount of time. The time it takes to do this varies, but it seems to happen more after I have been viewing video (flash or avi). The only fix I have found is to unplug the external displays and reboot.
I have installed all the latest drivers and software on this laptop. I do not have a virus or spyware.
After much troubleshooting, it appears that this problem only occurs when the external monitors (either one or both at the same time) are plugged in. I can run the laptop for days by itself and it seems fine.
Is there a fix out there or has anyone seen this before? Any ideas/tips would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, this problem is getting worse over time. It used to happen every couple of days, then once a day, and now it is happening many times per day.
