Hey peoples, Im looking to buy a new gaming laptop that could handle most of today's games on highest settings. My budget is $2000-$2400. Right now I have 2 laptops that I like:
The sager NP8170, customized with i7 2820, Radeon HD 6970, 120 GB intel 510 ssd, and 6GB ram. This comes down to $2399 which is at the top of my budget.
The other laptop is MSi GX660R with core i7 740QM, 5870M, 6GB ddr3 ram, 120gb intel 510 ssd, and its $2082 which is pretty good. First, which one would you say has more "Bang-for-the-Buck" value? Are there any other laptops with similar specs? Thanks.

Yeah, the laptop I would recommend is actually an HP Envy 17". With your budget you could get the 3D model as well and add some longevity to your purchase. Inside it has:

2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM (2.3 GHz, 8MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz
8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
800GB 7200RPM Dual Hard Drive (SSD 160GB + 640GB 7200RPM)
17.3" diagonal Full HD HP Ultra BrightView Infinity LED Display (1920x1080)
and a Backlit Keyboard
The video card is a 1GB GDDR5 Radeon(TM) HD 6850M Graphics [HDMI] which may be smaller than the Radeon HD 6970m but it uses less power and the benefits aren't as noticeable as you'd think.
