Yes, will probably need to do a custom install.
The operating system is rather independent of CPU, what does matter is the MB. You will need to down load the drivers for the various chipsets on the MB from the Manuf website. IE sound, wifi, video (maybe) and most important the driver for the HDD, and most likely need to download the "F6" driver so that XP can find your HDD.
