I have a HP Pavilion dv6 3052nr.It heats a lot on the the top left side where the fan is placed. It easily reaches over 90C(and shuts down) even while playing FIFA 10.During normal browsing or word editing also it is pretty hot(70C to 80C).So can you please suggest a Cooling pad?

Brand-Logitech,Belkin or any other brand AVAILABLE IN INDIA
Budget- 33$ or Rs 1500
Location-India

First thing before you look into a cooling pad is to grab a can of compressed air and blow out your fans. If they laptop is getting that hot you probably have clogged heatsinks and fans. Secondly if you can get to it I'd try reapplying thermal paste to the cpu and gpu and making sure the heatsinks are properly mounted. Then after all of that I'd invest in a Belkin laptop cooler. I've got one of the ones that uses 2 fans and can fit up to a 15.4 inch laptop. It does the job nicely for a cheap price.

Also belkin doesnt offer 2 fans cooling pad in India.Logitech has an large fan based N120 ,N100 and cooler master notepal x2.So can you suggest which one should i go for?You can also suggest from APC,Antec,Cooler Master

Will applying thermal paste void my warranty???
