so i was thinking of getting a new laptop and what i have in mind is the dell xps 15

Specs:

those are the most important

im willing to spend up to 1500 cdn dollars on a laptop and i will use primarily for gaming.

Well I would never recommend that anyone buy a Dell. The only three laptop brands I would buy (and have bought) is Sony, Toshiba or Asus.
