If ANY of the keys work, then the cable is properly pulled in. And the operating system "see's" the keyboard.

Your keyboard has gone bad, time for a new one..........



Yeah, keyboards have computer chips in them too, and, like all else they fail too.....


No worries you can pick up a cheap keyboard for $5 or a fairly good keyboard for $15. Buy anything that feels good to type on.
