Hi, guys, I need help!! I want to buy a netbook. My budget is about $350. I want to use it for keeping some document by Word, Excel. I also need it for watching some movies. The pixel is important and I'd like the feeling of my eyes comfortable. Now I am hesitating between Dell Inspiron Mini 10 and the Degee I8B11D4 10.2'' Intel Atom D425 Mini laptop. Dell Insprion Mini 10 will cost $345 and Degee only need about $254. I will plaste some core configurations below, please give me some suggestion.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10: about $345, Processor: N455 1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB/0.5 MB; System Memory DDR3 2GB *1, Graphic: Integrated Intel@ Graphics Media Accelerator 3150; Display: 10.1" WSVGA WLED; Hard Drive:250G; weight 1.2kg.

Degee I8B11D4 Mini Latop: about $254, Processor: Intel Atom D425 1.8GHz; System Memory DDR2 Max to 2GB*1; Graphic: Intel GMA X3150; Display 10.2" wide-screen 1280*600 WXGA; Hard Drive: Max to 320G; Weight:1.2kg.

Or any other brands or specific type in my budget range is better? please let me know Thanks very much :)

Thanks for your reply. I am not very sure also. It seems Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is better. Thanks

If your going to be using excel more than just once in a while I highly recommend going for the 12" that was suggested. 10" is just not enough screen space to do any real work on it. At least I found it incredibly hard to do probability simulations on my netbook because the screen just doesn't allow you to view enough data at the same time.

yes degee netbook is located in china. one of my friend bought one last month. he spend $199.99 for an Intel atom d425 netbook, and the netbook is being repaired in LA for some system problems. seemed they got only one after-sale service in US
