I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 laptop.
Our customer sent the laptop in for me to load with our software for a particular machine.
After loadiing the software and trying to run, I get the Blue Screen
STOP : 0x000000F4 (ox00000003, 0x8652CDA0, 0x8652CF14, 0x805C8D78)
It stays locked on this screen at the memory dump and never writes to the memory file.
The research I have done has told me it could be numerous items, from hardware to software to drivers. I have deleted all none critical programs and processes. I have run a memory test and hard disk test.
I am at a loss right now.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

I had talked to the software supplier and he had pointed to the hardware issue with the hard drive. We have used there software in more than 40-50 machines and have had no previous issues. I actually installed this same software on another Panasonic CF-29 and had no issues.

0x000000F4 (0x00000003, Parameter2, Parameter3, Parameter4) is the actual message I am gettting.

When I searched Microsofts support page they came back with the following:

A computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP or a later operating system stops responding during resume from standby, and you receive the following KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR stop error message:
0x0000007a (e163a3e4,c000000e,bf8e9313,0697f860)
or
0x000000F4 (0x00000003, Parameter2, Parameter3, Parameter4)
Note Parameter2, Parameter3, and Parameter4 in the stop error may vary.

This problem occurs on a computer in which Windows XP or a later operating system is installed on a hard disk that is configured as a subordinate and no other device is connected to the same IDE controller channel (primary or secondary).

For Parallel Advanced Technology Attachment (PATA) hard disks, configure your disk drive as master only. For Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) hard disks, connect the hard disk cable to a master channel SATA connector on the motherboard.
Connect another device as a master, such as another disk drive or a CD drive or DVD drive.
Change your PATA cables, your SATA cable, or your IDE cable even if the cable does not appear worn.
Install Windows on a new hard disk because it is possible that your hard disk or your Windows installation may be corrupted.

This laptop only supports one hard drive and the hard drive is configured as the Master. I think I am going to wait for our customer to send the software and documentation that came with the unit. Then I will re-format the drive and do a fresh install.

What little I have run the laptop, it runs fine until I try to execute this program. I have not tried to run anything else outside Explorer and some diagnostic software.

I just received the disks from my customer today. I may try doing a repair install and see what happens. It would not hurt. After that I will go the route doing a clean install with the drive re-formatted.

Thanks

Thats also odd. I went into the Event Viewer and nothing concerning this was triggered. No warnings or errors.

The other odd thing is that I think I posted is the blue screen never writes the memory dump to a file. It locks up on the blurb about writting to memory and it never informs me the memory dump is complete. So it appears even the "Blue Screen" locks up.

Thanks
